If you're having a sync issue with CWA and all you get is a spinning wheel for a LONG time, please update to the latest version of CrewBuddy (1.0.275) and try re-syncing.


If you've already updated to version .257+, please see below for instructions:


1) Close all background applications on your phone, restart your phone, open CrewBuddy and try whatever function you were last attempting- believe it or not, this might fix the problem. If not, go to step 2...

2) If the problem still exists, boot your phone into Safe mode (see instructions below) and restart your phone and open CrewBuddy and try the action again.


How to turn on Safe mode on a stock Android device

If you have a Google Pixel or Pixel XL, a Nexus device, or any other stock Android smartphone or tablet, then the process for turning on Safe mode is as follows:

  1. Press and hold the Power button.
  2. Tap and hold Power off.
  3. When the Reboot to safe mode prompt appears, tap OK.

Your device will then restart and it will say “Safe mode” in the bottom-left corner.


How to turn off Safe mode in Android

  1. Press and hold the Power button.
  2. Tap the Restart option.

Simply restart your Android device and that will turn off Safe mode.


How to turn on Safe mode on a Samsung Galaxy device

If you have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, a Galaxy S6, or another Samsung Galaxy device, then the process for turning on Safe mode is as follows:

  1. Press and hold the Power button and select Power off to turn your device off.
  2. Press and hold the Power button, until you see the animated Samsung logo appear.
  3. Release the Power button, and press and hold the Volume down button.
  4. Keep holding it until your device boots up.
  5. You can let go when you see the words “Safe mode” in bottom-left corner.
